Brooks Christol is the owner and chief strategist of ThinkSmith, a consultancy built for business leaders who are tired of wasted marketing spend and vague branding advice. With more than 25 years in marketing and communications, Brooks has led strategy for banks, energy co-ops, economic development groups, and tourism boards — helping brands move from stuck to sharp, scattered to strategic.

Before launching ThinkSmith, he co-founded and led Barker & Christol, a full-service agency with clients across the Southeast. Brooks is also a longtime Rotary leader, nonprofit advisor, and frequent branding consultant for municipalities and mission-driven organizations. His approach blends structured facilitation, deep messaging clarity, and just enough sarcasm to keep things moving.
